My client a UK based payment services organisation in Milton Keyes are looking for a Telesales Advisor to join their team on a permanent basis. 

As a Telesales Advisor your job will be to call potential customers from their internal database advising them of their services in order to book appointments for their field-based representatives to visit. 

You will be required to manage the field sales representative’s diary, booking appointments within reasonable distance to allow them the required time between appointments. 

You will be required to find out information on the customer this includes whether they are currently in a contract, or their current contract is coming to an end.  

You will also be required to update the database where necessary.  

They will also consider part time candidates for this role and can accomodate candidates wanting to work within school hours. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Outbound calling 

  • Successfully generate appointments for field sales representatives.  

  • Following up on internal and external leads to move them from enquiry to appointment. 

  • Updating of CRM system – ensuring all customer records are kept up to date accurately 

  • Comply with company policies and FCA regulatory guideline 

  • General sales admin tasks 

  • Competitor analysis 

  • Working towards set KPI’s 

Skills and Abilities: 

  • Ideally have experience in a sales environment  

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage with people at all levels  

  • Ability to organise, prioritise and manage workflow ensuring objectives are delivered /achieved
